How have your last two or three years looked?
I was on a high in February of 2020 returning from a marriage conference in Indiana. I was one of the speakers and ready to take on the world, several marriages at a time. Then everything shut down.
I won't bore you with the lockdowns, zoom call frustrations, politics, masks, decision to vaccinate or not vaccinate, the loss of friends and the weight gain, because if you are reading this, you went through it too.
In this time in history, I took a break from all writing and focused on as many rabbit holes as I chose to fall down. I learned a lot about myself, my country and grew even stronger in my marriage. Oh, and I watched way too much Netflix.
Now, at the tail end of 2022, I am back on track with a new website but the same passion for creating relationships and marriages that last and thrive.
I was saddened when I heard more than a few of my friends "bark" and moan about hating the lockdowns because their husband was driving them crazy. For me it was the opposite. I had my husband all to myself and enjoyed 98% of the time we had together. It was a reminder that I need to get back to work and share the love.
As frenetic as all of our lives can be, I will try to keep my weekly blogs between a 300 and 600 word count. Please share this with other couples and follow me each week. I will be following the advice from the good book!
Ephesians 4:29 - Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
I'm glad you are back!!!
